Fort Rucker has a total area of 28.2 km2 and it is yet to be decided upon what is the number of the people living at the camp, since it is a census-designated place. However, it is believe that about 6,000 people inhabit the camp. Near-by there is the city of Ozark, a place where people find many attractions. What is more, the base has a history museum (the United States Army Aviation Museum) so this is an extra attraction also interesting to the locals. Fort Rucker's primary mission is to "provide continuous installation management programs and services to support and enable the missions and readiness of stationed units and to promote the well-being of the Soldiers, family members and civilians of the Fort Rucker Community". However, the base does not have a stand-alone logo. The base has not received any press lately.
